Who Are The Pink Kitties?

Objective and Purpose:

To provide support and fellowship in an online sorority to like-minded transvestites, crossdressers, transgenders and transsexuals. This is done though chat room conversations, personal support, advice, friendship offerings, and real time physical contact with the understanding for all privacy concerns. With privacy as a primary concern, no phone numbers or addresses will ever be given out except between two consenting members and never exchanged beyond that. This organization will also provide support for any new visitor or erstwhile regular to the chat rooms, including morale support, suggestions on where to go for clothes, accessories and other needs, as well as literature and information concerning this lifestyle. Avoiding cases of "them" versus "us", we should always be there to help educate those who come into the room on who and what we are in an open and unbiased manner, directing them to all available information to help in that education and enlightenment.

This organization will not distinguish between transgender, transsexual or crossdresser for membership, and shall not discriminate against any of these groups. This organization will also be open to supportive genetic women (GG's) and also supportive males (non-crossdressers), as well as significant others of members.

Code of Conduct and Behavior:

Members are to, at all times, show respect within the chat room (with flexibility in respect to sense of humor) to all other members and guests to the rooms, and should be mindful of the different needs and levels of others within the TG/TS community. Nonetheless, those who obviously display behavior associated with SNERTS....including certain CD fetishists....should be first reported to TOS by at least two or more members, and then placed on IGNORE whenever possible. Remember always that new people to the room may not be aware of the etiquette of the room and it is up to us to inform them what acceptable etiquette is allowed. If they choose to ignore the basics of proper behavior and decent manners, they then shall be placed on SNERT Status. Within the membership, respect for feelings and support should be offered at all times. In addition, profane language should be watched and limited whenever possible, as this is a TOS violation, and we don't want any member subjected to this. Also, profanity by others should not be tolerated in the room either and they should be fairly warned that this is not acceptable. Always, warn first. Give the new person a chance to correct the mistake or error in language or behavior as they might not be aware of what they have done. If they do comply, then the offering of support and information can be extended.

Grounds for Expulsion or Reprimand:

Any member who conspires against another member, either with a member or with a nonmember of the Pink Kittens, is subject to expulsion or reprimand upon conclusive evidence. That member will also be informed of this via email. They should have the opportunity to account for themselves in defense within a reasonable time. If subjected to reprimand and behavior continues, expulsion will be final disposition. In addition, the use of ghosting or cloning to harass other members is not tolerated and ghosts or clones should be with the approval of the member being cloned.

Membership Qualification and Acceptance Guidelines:

All potential members may acquire a "Pink Kitty's Membership Application" from members listed on the current full member roster. Applicants MUST have sponsorship from a current Pink Kitty Member in order to apply and submit for review. Applicants who are sponsored should be known by the Sponsor and familiar to most members through chats in the rooms. Behavior consistent with the established codes of conduct for the "Pink Kittens" should have been demonstrated prior to the submission of the membership application. The probationary member will pass a period of review, no less than one month and no longer than two, where a vote by Senior Council members will make the final approval. At this time, the potential member will be notified of the results via e-mail.

Screen Names:

With the changes in screen names, it is suggested that all Pink Kitty members notify the others of a screen name change via e-mail so that updates can be made and avoid confusion.

A special thanks for the combined efforts of MeganCate, JeanetteCT, and CajnQueen2 for the development of our Charter.
